Join author and educator Alisha Gabriel and celebrate her new book, Funky Fungi: 30 Activities for Exploring Molds, Mushrooms, Lichens, and More, co-authored with Sue Heavenrich. Great for ages 8 and up. Alisha will read a little from her book, dissect a mushroom with audience members, and lead a craft project. A few copies of the book will be available for purchase, but copies can also be ordered through your favorite bookstore or from Alisha’s Bookshop.

Family friendly and recommended for ages 8-12. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Mushroom grow blocks for everyone that attends.
