SporeCorps is our indoor cultivation and community lab program — a hands-on space for curious minds to explore the science, art, and discipline of growing fungi. SporeCorps teaches low-tech and high-tech methods in a supportive, futuristic, DIY-lab environment.
We have community labs in Austin and San Antonio and you can take our three part- online class and get certified in mushroom cultivation. Mission patch included. Members get lot’s of perks including access to use the lab so become a supporting member today!
Our mission is to empower people with the skills to cultivate fungi safely, responsibly, and sustainably at home. Think of us as a friendly little resistance: teaching the skills, sharing the knowledge, growing the future — one Petri dish at a time.

Take our introductory in-person course on mushroom cultivation. Art will guide you through the basics from inoculation to harvest teaching and some pro-tips on how to cultivate rare, culinary mushrooms like an albino wood ears!
