Sunday Foray at McKinney Roughs
With all the recent rain and humidity, it’s time for a last minute members-only foray THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 18TH FROM 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. at one of our favorite spots, McKinney Roughs! This photo includes some of fantastic fungi we found around this time last year. This foray will be lead by forage.atx, Ali and several other CTMS leadership members.
If you're not yet a member now is a good time to get hyphae, myceliate, and join the mass. Tickets are limited and include 1 recycled mushroom grow block. We will also have mushroom tea and jerky available for everyone. It does not include the entry fee ($5) for McKinney Roughs.
Allow 30 minutes from Austin to travel to McKinney Roughs. We will meet outside of where you pay the entrance fee. Bring a water, camera, closed-toe shoes, and masks. Masks are required when we are within 6 feet of one another. (ex. hanging over shoulders, looking at mushrooms together.)
