Where: Lake Bastrop South Shore (Meet at the Swift Trailhead)

With the much needed rain mushroom magic is happening. Join us to observe and identify mushrooms using iNaturalist and field guides.

Spots are limited and sliding scale donations are accepted. Donation does not include the $5 entry into Lake Bastrop Park. Family friendly. Rain or Shine.

Guides: Angel & Hector

Walk Terrain: We will be covering a couple miles on flat trails along the lake. 

What to wear: Bug spray, Wear pants, rubber boots or waterproof shoes (expect to get muddy) 

What to bring: Smartphone or camera for photos, drinking water, mushroom field guide (optional), notebook

What we will bring: extra water, field data slips

Download iNaturalist: If you don't already have the iNaturalist app, sign-up and download it on your mobile device. We will be using it to photograph and assist in identifying mushrooms.
