Myco-Blitz @ Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge

$0.00
sold out

Tuesday, June 15th @ 8:30 am to 11:00 am

Central Texas Mycology Society (CTMS) has been invited to the the Balcones Canyonland Preserve to observe and identify mushrooms. We want to take advantage of this rainy spring season and observe and identify as many mushrooms as possible using iNaturalist and field guides. This event is great for people that want to sharpen their ID skills. You do not need to be an expert or CTMS member to participate, this is a learning opportunity and the more eyes and cameras photographing mushrooms we have the more we will discover. Let's explore this beautiful preserve and find mushroom species together!

This event is 30 to 45 minutes from Austin and starts early so only grab a free ticket if you are 100% you can attend. You must sign a liability waiver from BCL if participating. We will send out the meet-up instructions and waivers on Monday evening.
