Melanated people, join Sam the Fungi for a nature walk this Friday. This event is free and open to anyone identifying as BIPOC and wanting to learn more about the fungi queendom and all that Pachamama has to offer.

Some mushrooms like the one shown in this photo contain a high quantity of melanin, a dark brown or black pigment which provides color and helps protect them from harsh environments such as those found in areas of radiation exposure.

Get ready to breath in, breath out and connecting to the power of Mycelium.

(Bring your swim clothes if you want to take a dip after the walk.)
