LOCATION: Terraza Branch Library on Cesar Chavez

COST: Free with Registration

Join Matt Powers, author, educator, and citizen scientist, as he explains the why and how of using a microscope to assess soil, compost, plant roots, fungi, and more.

This will be our first in-person talk since the pandemic and we couldn’t be more excited to host it at the Terraza Branch Library on Cesar Chavez. We have room for 50 people and registration is required so we know we have room for everyone. Doors at 5:30 and talk and live stream starts at 6:00. If you can’t make it in person we will be live streaming online via zoom or YouTube.

Bring fungi and soil samples Matt will be doing a live demo with a 4k screen so everyone will be able to see the samples in detail. We will also have recycled mushroom blocks for people to take home for composting. Delve into soil science with Matt!

ABOUT THE GUEST SPEAKER

Matt Powers (M.Ed) is an author, educator, seed saver, gardener, citizen scientist, and entrepreneur on a mission to empower people everywhere to live more regeneratively. Matt, a former public high school teacher, has written over 20 books in over 6 languages on permaculture and regenerative soil with over 10 online courses he teaches.
