ABOUT THE TALK

What Mushrooms can Teach Us About Collaboration is a broad view at the fungi kingdom and the nature of relationships between fungi species and other organisms. We'll discuss examples of collaboration, competition, and everything in between, looking for insights that might translate into useful lessons or models of human behavior.

ABOUT ONE UP MUSHROOM PRODUCTS

One Up Mushroom Products is a company dedicated to cultivating and marketing mushrooms. Our farm is located in Mission, Texas; where we grow fresh, gourmet mushrooms for local restaurants and farmer's markets, and we also manufacture mushroom-based products for culinary or medicinal purposes. The business is owned & managed by 3 longtime friends; not formally trained as scientists or mycologists, but very passionate about working with mushrooms and making a positive contribution to the planet.
