AboUT THE class

In this presentation Mariana is going to introduce to you the world of ethnomycology, and teach you about some wonderful uses of mushrooms around the world, ancient to modern, and how you may apply that to your life. We will go on a trip looking into different mushrooms and ecosystems, and talk about Indigenous cultures around the world and their traditional mycological knowledge, what were the main mushrooms used by our ancestors, who were the people that created the “Bee Man Shaman”, the threats fungi and people suffer, and how we can try to remediate that problem.

All are welcome in our meetings, but you must register in advance. Zoom link and YouTube will be sent out before the event by email.
