What happens when fungi move from background decomposers to major planetary players? Join us for a thought-provoking online talk with Dr. Arturo Casadevall, one of the world’s leading fungal researchers, as we explore the ecological, medical, and societal implications of a fungal future.

Drawing from his new book What If Fungi Win?, Dr. Casadevall will share how fungi shape ecosystems, challenge medicine, and reflect our vulnerabilities—from emerging fungal diseases to the lessons of the COVID-19 pandemic. He’ll also discuss what the rise of fungi means for science, health equity, and resilience in the Anthropocene.

Expect a dynamic conversation that blends microbiology, philosophy, and urgent ecological insight.

REGISTER AND ATTEND TO WIN A LIVE GIVEAWAY of Dr. Arturo’s Book What If Fungi Win?
