Join our friends from the Bastrop Native Plant Society to learn how to grow gourmet, culinary mushrooms. This presentation is perfect for beginners or those who would like to really dial in their at home mushroom production and composting.

We will be bringing mushroom grow blocks to upcycle for everyone in attendance. Learn how to use them here.

About the Speaker

Austin Davenport, is an Austin-based cultivation coach and gardener known for his work with Central Texas Gardener, PBS, and workshops at places like the Austin Public Library and for the Austin Organic Gardeners. He focuses on hydroponics, growing gourmet mushrooms, permaculture, and seasonal vegetable and flower gardening tailored to the Central Texas climate. His expertise includes teaching about soil amendments, growing food indoors, and designing food forests and raised beds.
