With the much needed rain mushroom magic is happening. Join us at Lake Bastrop in the post oak savannah ecoregion to observe and identify mushroom biodiversity using iNaturalist and field guides. We will learn how to identify culinary mushrooms as well as those to be cautious of. See the Destroying Angel that Angel observed last year. Rain or Shine.
What to wear: Rain boots or waterproof shoes, long pants, bug spray.
What to bring: Water, Smartphone, SLR Camera, Bug Spray, snacks our sack lunch. We will be learning how to use the app iNaturalist to document our observations. Download the app beforehand
