Join Central Texas Mycological Society and Andrew Denny from South Texas Seasonals for a workshop on how to grow mushrooms. You will go home with a mushroom grow kit that you learn to put together. Choose from pink, blue, gold, Italian and wild oyster mushrooms. All materials included. The bar will be open so you can also donate to a local charity.

Family friendly and kids under 12 always get in free.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Andrew Denny is a mycophile who grew up in Houston Tx, and discovered his love for mushrooms in wooded areas around the southeast part of town. Relocating to San Antonio he continued his passion and started South Texas Seasonals, a gourmet and medicinal mushroom farm. Just 25 minutes south of downtown SA, boasting a seasonal variety of cultivated and wild fungus, you can find his mushrooms at a number of restaurants around town, occasional farmers markets, local shops and CSA’s.
