This talk explores an AnthroTech experiment using PlantWave, sound, and fungi to ask a simple question: what changes when we experience nature as a collaborator instead of background?
Through a pre- and post-interview with a musician, technology is used not to optimize nature, but to listen to it—revealing how techno-mediated encounters can shift people’s sense of connection, agency, and help us rethink about what it means to build technology without centering humans.
Blending anthropology, technology, and art, this talk invites us to rethink our relationship with the nonhuman world and what it means to design futures with nature rather than around it.
