Dive into the magical underground alliance between fungi and plants at Mycelial Realms, a unique outdoor adventure game blending ecological education with immersive gameplay!

2. Glow Station & Game Zone
Mycelial Realms – Play as Plants, Fungi, Funky Fungivores, or Villains in a UV capture-the-flag style game, racing to reconnect with the Mother Tree.
UV Night Exploration – Discover glowing mushrooms, lichens, and nocturnal wildlife with provided blacklight flashlights. Don’t forget your camera and tripod. Learn how some plants, mushrooms, lichens and insects have evolved color patterns that are visible in the ultraviolet portion of the electromagnetic light spectrum, which humans cannot see but many insects, birds and animals can see.
3. Mothing & BioBlitz
Take Photos - Help document Flora, fauna and funga and organisms on iNaturalist.
How to Get the Glow - Here’s a few hacks on turning smart phone into a black light. Here’s pro tips if you use an SLR Camera.
4. Arts & Crafts Zone
Decompose – Learn how to make mycelium skulls and upcycle mushroom blocks for gardening, soil building, and mycoremediation. We will have mushroom blocks for everyone to take home and upcycle.
Family Fun – Mushroom crafts, costume contests, guided tours of the restored dumpsite-turned-forest, and glow-in-the-dark bingo (Spanish cards available!).
5. Snack Attack Zone, Mush Merch & Costume Contest
Enjoy Recipes from the Mushroom Lover’s Cookbook - Sip on “Mush Love Tea,” enjoy mushroom-themed treats, and take home recycled mushroom blocks to grow your own fungal allies!
Mush Merch - Shop glowing and mushroom themed merch designed by local artists
Costume Contest – dress as your favorite Flora, Fauna, or Fungi. Get creative with glowing outfits, face paint.

Park in the first lot by softball fields at Roy G. Guerrero Park, 400 Grove Blvd and walk towards ACC until you see the the Circle Acres entrance and sign.

From setting up our UV wonderland to managing glow games and helping with cleanup, there's a role for everyone.
