Join the Smithville community in learning how to be more self-sufficient and sustainable including: Growing vegetables, preserving food, recycling/composting, and understanding our wildlife and ecosystems. We will be there recycling mushroom blocks and doing demonstrations. Local homesteaders, businesses, and organizations will be sharing their knowledge and resources such as:
- How-to demonstrations and Q&A - A homesteading-themed swap and supplies to help you get started - Sustainable products/services for sale including mini farmer’s market - Activity for kids
Free to attend, fun for all ages, and in collaboration with the Community-Wide Garage Sale the same day!
