From Louis San Miguel:

Greetings, my name is Louis San Miguel from San Antonio, TX. I’m a mycologist, naturalist, and veteran that has found great healing from immersing myself in nature, and that has allowed me to serve my community to an exceptional degree. I’ve been studying and working with fungi for the past 5 years and found that there is no end to the complexity and majesty of nature. I also discovered very early in the process that there are no schools or institutions that teach mycology in Texas. With the guidance and support from the plant and fungal allies I work with, I started my own company and began serving my city by teaching and sharing mushroom knowledge. I truly believe in teaching practical skills that empower the individual and provide everlasting value, growing mushrooms happens to be one of them.

Mycology is one of many aspects of nature that is not well studied but is calling for explorers. If you are curious and want the learn about these fascinating organisms and what they can offer us, connect with me and let’s see how we can expand the awareness of this beautiful science to our communities.

Love and Medicine,

 Louis San Miguel
